General Description:-
This is a HUGE all singing, all dancing site in a large nature reserve. The reception was closed when we arrived but the staff in the restaurant were very helpful, booked us in and allocated a pitch for us. The pitch was large and reasonably flat with an electric point close to the pitch, unfortunately we did not find this until we were about to leave and had to use a power point so far away we joined two cables to reach it.

As soon as we had sited the caravan and unhitched we were approached by our neighbour who showed us the site rule book (pointless really - it was in Dutch) and explained that all caravans must be parked parallel to the hedge at the rear, one metre from the pitch marker which must be in the centre of the centre of the pitched van. The rule book looked very thick.

Toilets and Showers:-
Toilets and showers were unisex, modern and kept clean. There was plenty of loo roll but just two grubby basins with cold water only, no soap and no towels for hand washing.

There was a laundrette but we neither saw nor used it.

The restaurant was large but arranged in a manner that made it cosy and intimate rather than soul-less. We didn’t eat there but it seemed popular. My guess is that it is good but not cheap

This is very much a family holiday centre that suits the gregarious Dutch and would be a great hit to children of all ages. The pitches are large but on most of the fields when caravans are arranged sideways on the pitch you will always be quite close to your neighbours, but of course all awnings face the centre of the field where the youngsters can play supervised.

We stayed just one night and paid the ACSI price of €17.00 plus tourist tax of €2.05
